Launch of Gray’s final major work, Paradise, published by Canongate Books on November 5th 2020.
Speakers in the first half, « Remembering Alasdair », include: Alan Bissett (playwright), Sorcha Dallas (The Alasdair Gray Archive), Bernard MacLaverty (novelist, friend), Kat Rolley (Alasdair’s niece), and Nichol Wheatley (artist, collaborator).
In the second half, Liz Lochhead (ex-Makar of Scotland) and Alan Riach (poet, Professor of Scottish Literature, University of Glasgow) will read from Paradise and discuss Gray’s oeuvre
