The European Summer School in Chinese Digital Humanities, sponsored by the European Association for Chinese Studies, GIS Asie and Tseng Family Trust, will be held at Aix-Marseille University on June 20-23, 2022. The 4-day program consists of hands-on sessions in using different techniques and instruments in textual, spatial, and network analysis applied to humanities/social sciences in the field of Chinese studies. It is intended for graduate students and post-doctoral researchers without a prior background in the digital humanities. Participants will have the opportunity to present their own research and discuss the pros and cons of engaging with different kinds of digital methods. The Summer School will conclude with a one-and-a-half-day conference by the scholars involved in the summer school.
