DESCRIPTION:Sara GUIDI“From the tides of blood\, the lava ofvolcanoes\, the burning of all witches.The echoes of silenced stories in LeNemesiache’s path” \n\n\n\nCe cycle de séminaires académiques\, intitulé « Narrations plurielles »\, explore comment les femmes artistes et écrivaines du XXe et XXIe siècles s’approprient le langage dans leurs œuvres littéraires et artistiques pour redéfinir les normes et réécrire leur histoire. Les séminaires analysent comment ces pratiques narratives transforment les discours\, contribuent à une relecture critique de l’histoire\, de la société et des normes qui imposent une marginalité des sujets féminins\, et créent une identité collective féminine. Ce cycle est composé de quatre séances de trois heures chacune\, dirigées par quatre jeunes chercheuses en littérature comparée et étude de la réception de l’Antiquité. Les séminaires seront un mélange de présentiel et de distanciel pour favoriser un échange élargi sur les thèmes abordés.Les ouvrages prises en compte dans les séances constituent un corpus hétérogène composé de romans et œuvres théâtrales. LeGuin\, Lavinia\, 2008; Marcia Burnier\, Les Orageuses\, 2020 ; Margaret Atwood\, The Handmaid’s Tale\, 1985 ; Nelly Arcan\, Putain\, 2001 ; Il Verdetto (2007) de l’autrice italienne Valeria Parella\, Les Larmes de Clytemnestre de Marie-Pierre Cattino (2011)\, Clitemnestra. SUMMARY:CGGG et CIELAM. Séminaire "Narrations plurielles"
DESCRIPTION: Cycle de séminairesCommunication de Sara Guidi\, artiste visuelle et performeuse«From the tides of blood\, the lava of volcanoes\, the burning of all witches. The echoes of silenced stories in Le Nemesiache’s path»The session will focus on the artistic and pioneering eco-feminist path of the Neapolitan group Le Nemesiache\, active since 1970 for over half a century. Particular attention will go to the significant role of the Mediterranean landscape (the sea\, the volcano and its vapours) and the reinterpretation of the ancient Mediterranean mythologies\, such as the Sibyls\, within the group’s evolving practice.In Le Nemesiache’s path\, the past becomes a ground for experimentation; a site for discovering and amplifying those marginalised voices obscured by patriarchal narratives. As a crucial key for resignification and liberation\, it becomes a fluid morphology of change and metamorphosis that allows for the exploration of desire beyond any limits\, even those of nature.[I]This engagement with the past\, particularly through the lens of ancient myth\, means a reconnection with the body and its free languages\, such as gesture\, dance\, and poetry\, in order to achieve collective liberation. The group’s understanding of myth transcends static\, identity-based definitions; instead\, it becomes a stance for envisioning a liberating and non-repressive form of justice. It provides a liminal framework for exploring and reclaiming individual and collective depth\, both in processes of self-discovery\, in their artistic experimentation and political engagement within the public sphere.During the session\, we will screen parts of: Le Sibille (The Sibyls\, 1976)\, Follia come Poesia (Madness as Poetry\, 1978)\, and Didone non è morta (Dido is Not Dead\, 1982). We will also read selections from their texts and archival materials\, including: Invito alla Festa della Poesia alla Gaiola (Invitation to the Poetry Festival at Gaiola\, 1978)\, Faust Fausta (1990)\, Il Mare sarà solo (The Sea Will Be Alone\, 1993)\, and Donne e Unicorni (Women and Unicorns).
